OUR man in Italy Marco Di Cosmo (@Scioltz) gives us his best three bets from Sunday’s Serie A card.

Lazio v Napoli | Sunday 11.30 | BT Sport 1

These two teams are battling for the third and final Champions League place. Lazio are in a fantastic place at the moment after their eventful but exciting performance in the Rome derby last weekend.

However, when they host Napoli on Sunday they’re likely to be without this season’s star man Felipe Anderson as well as defenders Stefan De Vrij and Dusain Basta. Their backline is going to be decidedly dodgy.

Napoli aren’t performing to the levels we know they can, especially since winning the Super Coppa. But they do still have the best attacking side in the league. The odds on away win are interesting but I’m convinced Rafa Benitez’s men are trustworthy on their travels.

Napoli have one of the worst defences in the league, Lazio one of the best strikeforces in the league and so goals should definitely be on the agenda. I’m happy to back Over 2.5 Goals at 21/20 (BetVictor) as well as a small play on Gonzalo Higuain to score at anytime at 19/10 with BetBright.

Cesena v Torino | Sunday 14.00

I rate Cesena as the weakest team in Serie A and I'm sure they are going to be relegated this season. But even with this in mind, I still find exaggerated odds on the Romagnoli for this match.

Opponents Torino aren’t a bad team but they’ve only won once away from home, scoring a paltry five goals in eight games.

Cesena are putting in much improved performances when hosting games and with this a relegation six-pointer (probably Cesena’s last chance to claw their way back up the table), I’m stunned to see the home team at 4/1.

So if they don’t perform on Sunday, they never will. I won’t trust them to do win but I will get the other two outcomes covered by backing Cesena in the Double Chance market at 19/20 with Coral.

Udinese v Cagliari | Sunday 14.00

Udinese have not registered a victory in their last four home matches; a surprising statistic when the Friulani are always considered a force when playing on home soil. Their last home outing saw Udinese go down 1-0 against Roma.

The team lacked the confidence to get a result in that game and they’ve adopted a much more defensive set-up this season; one of the main reasons why I normally avoid backing them.

But on the other hand, 37-year-old Toto Di Natalie never stops scoring and I’m confident he can help lead the Zebras back to wining ways.

Cagliari are without plenty of their big-name players including Victor Ibarbo and so Udinese should collect maximum points at a tasty 6/5 with William Hill.

Best Bets

Lazio v Napoli – Over 2.5 Goals (21/20 BetVictor)

Lazio v Napoli – Gonzalo Higuain to score at anytime (19/10 BetBright)

Cesena v Torino – Cesena double chance (19/20 Coral)

Udinese v Cagliari – Udinese to win (6/5 William Hill)
