Scottish Football Tips | Mr Fixit’s Treble | 13th August 2016

THE DAILY RECORD'S Mr Fixit (@mrfixittips) gives us his three best bets in Scotland this weekend.

Stranraer v Alloa | Saturday 15.00

When will Alloa’s bubble burst?

That’s the big question. The Wasps have started the season in super style with six wins in a row including the scalps of Ross County and Inverness on their way to the Betfred Cup quarter-finals.

The perfect run has to end but hopefully it’s not this weekend as bookies are offering better than evens in a win at Stranraer.

While Alloa have excelled the Blues have lost three in a row and conceded 11 goals.

A pair of 3-0 defeats to Rangers and Motherwell in the Cup was followed by an even heavier 5-1 thumping at Livingston in the League One last week.

Alloa’s perfect record has to end but hopefully it’s not in this one and I'm taking the Wasps at 23/17 with marathonbet.

Dumbarton v Dundee United | Saturday 15.00

United dazzled at Partick in the Cup and should dump Dumbarton – whose 4-3 defeat at Dunfermline was flattered by potting two late penalties.

The Sons are leaking goals – nine in three games – and if the Tannadice men repeat their cup display they look good for the three points at 8/11 with William Hill.

Queen Of The South v Ayr | Saturday 15.00

Another side I like are Queen Of The South.

Boss Gavin Skelton tried to nick the headlines from sister Helen with a shock 3-1 Cup win at Hibs in midweek and having also drawn with Dundee United they should take full points when Ayr visit.

Queens are a best 3/4 at Coral.

Best Bets

Stranraer v Alloa – Alloa to win (23/17 marathonbet)

Dumbarton v Dundee United – Dundee United to win (8/11 William Hill)

Queen Of The South v Ayr – Queen Of The South to win (3/4 Coral)
