Mr Fixit’s Scottish Football Tips | 14th March 2015

THE famous Mr Fixit, tipster at Scotland’s Daily Record for almost 20 years, is back eyeing up Saturday’s Scottish action and sharing his three favourite bets.

Hearts v Dumbarton | Saturday 15.00

It promises to be an emotional occasion at Tynecastle as Hearts honour the legendary Dave Mackay and Robbie Neilson's men can provide a fitting tribute on the pitch.

Of course it's too much to ask for a repeat of their last outing – a 10-0 tanking of Cowdenbeath – but the champions-elect can still see off Dumbarton with a bit to spare.

The Sons have just one win in nine and have already lost 5-1 (a favourite scoreline of Jambos fans) in two of their three meetings with Hearts this season. Take Hearts to win minus one at 13/19 with 888sport.

Hamilton v Ross County | Saturday 15.00

County were hammered 4-0 at New Douglas Park at the start of the season but are now on the rise with four wins on the spin while Accies are on a downer.

The Lanarkshire win haven't won since manager Alex Neil left to join Norwich in January and have scored just once in eight games.

County have taken their last two 1-0 and look big at 21/10 with Ladbrokes who make them 6/5 in the draw no bet market.

Kilmarnock v St Mirren | Saturday 15.00

Killie have won both previous meetings 2-1 this season but I'm not so sure they'll make it three in a row.

Saints are fighting for their lives in bottom place in the table and can grab a goal against a side who've kept a clean sheet in only two of their last 10 outings.

A draw looks most likely but best bet is both to score at evens with 888sport.

Best Bets

Hearts v Dumbarton – Hearts -1 (13/19 888 Sport)

Hamilton v Ross County – Ross County draw no bet (6/5 Ladbrokes)

Kilmarnock v St Mirren – Both Teams To Score (1/1 888 Sport)
