MLS: Hector can make hay on Saturday night Stateside

DEBUTANT WLB contributor Luke Beaumont (@LBBeaumont) scans his eye over Saturday's Major League Soccer action, picking out his best bets.

D.C. United v Chicago Fire | Saturday 21:00

D.C. United come into this game on the back of two home defeats on the bounce and Chicago Fire will be looking to take advantage of that, and the Fire are a team more than capable of doing so.

After a fairly slow start to the year, the Fire's quality is now showing as they have been brushing aside teams in recent weeks such as Seattle Sounders (last year's MLS Cup winners) and Colorado Rapids.

Players such as Nemanja Nikolic and David Accam, can't stop scoring and I fancy one of them to get on the score sheet once more this weekend.

Chicago can avoid defeat in the double chance market (8/11 Bet365).

Atlanta United v Houston Dynamo | Sunday 00:00

Atlanta United are an expansion team who had a fantastic start to this season, but results have slipped in recent weeks and performances have dropped since the injury to striker, Josef Martinez.

Atlanta did however pick up a good point on the road against the Portland Timbers last weekend.

Houston Dynamo are a strong team, and they currently sit second in the Western conference. However, they are much better at home than they are on the road, which applies to most teams in MLS.

There will be goals in this one, as there is goals whenever Atlanta take to the field and Hector Villalba looks a good shout to strike at anytime (6/4 BetVictor).

Best Bets

D.C. United v Chicago Fire – Chicago Fire double chance (8/11 Bet365)

Atlanta United v Houston Dynamo – Hector Villalba to score anytime (6/4 BetVictor)
