These two will be facing off in Istanbul in a few weeks time for the Champions League final and it’s no surprise given the high performance levels both have shown in the last few months. Both have shown strong defensive resolve and it’s no surprise the bookies anticipate a low scoring affair with under 2.5 goals trading at around 4/6.

It’s going to be interesting to see if any curveballs are being thrown by either manager, something to make them second guess what may happen in the final. City have all but wrapped up the title already so don’t be surprised to see Pep tinker with his formation slightly. Chelsea are still in pursuit of a top 4 spot but know even a draw here keeps that possibility in their hands.

There have been under 2.5 goals scored in 14 of Chelsea's last 17 games in the Premier League and they’re also unbeaten in 14 of their last 15 so they should be respected here. They’ve already beaten Man City in the FA Cup final of late too so you could argue the hosts’ price is a touch short at evens.

With little to split the sides in their current guise, and with both playing midweek it could be a rather tight affair and given unders is chalked up so short my eyes have turned to the draw at 13/5, a more than respectable price which will ideally suit both parties too, you’d imagine.

One prop play that looks attractive is Ben Chilwell to hit under 43.5 passes with bet365. Chilwell played the full game midweek so I don’t think he will get the full 90 here, with 5 subs available to make we’ve seen Tuchel bring him off for Alonso or Emerson a few times.

He only managed 28 in 81 minutes last week at home to Fulham and you’d imagine City will have much more possession than the Cottagers. He’s also failed to hit 44+ in games against Sheffield United, Leeds, Arsenal, West Ham and Everton.

I was first interested in the betting industry by doing the odd coupon at 18 - when I’d see a team at odds I didn’t expect it sparked my curiosity as to why that was. I’d go and research everything around that club: form, team news, manager quotes, and try give my own price in an aim to out-do the bookies. I personally enjoy punting on the Football League and European competitions. I like to diversify what markets I bet on so sometimes it’s outrights, goals, player cards etc. The Football League angle comes from being an avid Bradford City fan which has its ups (reaching a League Cup final and beating Chelsea in the FA Cup) and its downs (The entirety of 2018). Hobbies of mine include playing football, cross country running, travelling and playing Football Manager.
