NEWLY-CROWNED champions Man City will get a guard of honour from Swansea on Sunday and Thomas Thorn (@TomTomDRFC) is expecting them to put on a show for the party.

After Man United’s surprising loss to West Brom, Man City were crowned champions thanks to their impressive 3-1 away win against Tottenham at Wembley the day before.

City have lost their last three competitive fixtures at home and with the Premier League win sealed their next target will be reaching 100 goals in the league, meaning they need seven more from their remaining five games.

Whilst Carlos Carvalhal has said he is happy to give City a guard of honour, he will no doubt have his Swansea team fired up. The Welsh side sit above the relegation zone and will be hoping to distance themselves further from the relegation threatened teams, but avoiding the onslaught of the Man City attack will prove a tough task.

In the reverse fixture, City beat Swansea 4-0 at the Liberty Stadium and The Cityzens scored three against a strong Spurs side last weekend. With City wanting to celebrate their third Premier League win in style – goals could flow at the Etihad.

My selection is going to be with City to score three goals or more at 4/6 with Coral. They have managed that feat 12 times across all competitions on home soil this season.

The reverse fixture also saw City keep a clean sheet against Swansea for the first time in nine games. City have only kept two shut-outs in 10 and have conceded six goals in three games, so I also side with Swansea to score at least one goal at 8/5 with BetVictor.
