It feel a bit like groundhog day to many at the moment and this bet feels like it! I backed Harvey Barnes to score in the away leg last week and I backed a loser but the Leicester winger had The Foxes clearest chance in that encounter and then found the net and assisted another goal in his sides 2-1 win over Aston Villa on Sunday.

My concern when backing Barnes in the first leg was that he may not start the game. He did, however, and he is also very likely to start tomorrow, especially as Leicester are missing players in so many other positions.

So I am going back to the well and backing Barnes at 41/20 to score any time against the Czech side. Barnes has scored three goals in five starts in the Europa League and also six in his last 11 Premier League matches. This price, with Unibet, is simply too big and I will be taking it.

Slavia Prague were probably the better side in last week’s encounter and definitely dominated the second half. This is a concern to some degree, especially as James Maddison is also now added to Leicester’s fairly lengthy injury list. However, I am comforted by their dominant performance against Aston Villa and also the fact that they still have plenty of creativity and goalscoring options in their side.

Ultimately, I expect Brendan Rodgers’ side to prevail here and think a home victory and under 4.5 goals is the way to go. This has obliged in 19 of their 22 victories across all competitions including all four of their wins in the Europa League this term. The 10/11 Betway are offering on this looks of value to me so this will be my second bet.

Best Bets

Leicester vs Slavia Prague – Harvey Barnes to score (41/20 Unibet)

Leicester vs Slavia Prague – Leicester to win and Under 4.5 Goals (10/11 Betway)
