The Roses rivalry is resumed on Sunday as Leeds meet Manchester United. Tom Winch (@WinchySFP) picks out his favourite fancy.

Elland Road is where Manchester United will travel on Sunday afternoon as a struggling Leeds side host this bitter fixture for just the second time since 2003.
Marcelo Bielsa knows that a relegation battle is certainly a possibility – his side have accumulated just 13 points from 11 games at home this campaign, which is only worsened by the current bottom-three.
The Yorkshire side could feel hard done by with key players serving lengthy periods on the sidelines due to injuries. Kalvin Phillips and Patrick Bamford were mainstays of Leeds’ impressive return to the Premier League last season but have played a combined 18 appearances so far in 2021/2022.
Man Utd haven’t quite lived up to the pre season expectations this campaign despite sitting within the Champions League places. Big-money signing Jadon Sancho has taken some time to settle in at Old Trafford since his move from Germany, whilst a continuing lack of favouritism towards the Red Devils central defence which has seen them keep just three cleans sheets in 12 on the road.
These sides met on the opening day of the season where Man Utd dismantled Bielsa’s boys, seeing four goals arriving after the break resulting in a 5-1 victory.
Bruno Fernandes netted three on the day to open his account in excellent fashion but he hasn’t quite had the same impact since the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo, who as expected, has taken large parts of the limelight. The Portuguese attacking midfielder has added just five goals and five assists since the opening day in his recent 23 league appearances.
With both sides struggling defensively you’ll have to fancy goals so I’m going to go with a Bet Builder angle for this game. Leeds have received a booking in 96% of league games, whereas Utd have seen one in 88% in the Premier League.
Both sides to find the back of the net and to receive 1+ card is being offered at odds just higher than 9/10 (1.92) on Bet 365 which is something I’m willing to take. This also landed in the opening day clash .
