TOM LOVE (@TomLove_18) turns his attention to the FA Cup on Sunday and brings us his best bets from the day's 3rd Round action.

Woking v Watford | Sunday 6th January 2019, 14:00 | BT Sport

This is one of the standout ties of the round with National League South side Woking welcome Premier League outfit Watford.

Javi Gracia is likely to utilise his strength and depth within the squad with the likes of Tom Cleverly, Daryl Janmaat, Marc Navarro and Domingos Quina likely to come into the squad. It’s the latter that I’m going to focus on in this game though.

Watford secured the signing of the highly rated Portugal under 21 international Quina from West Ham. He’s managed to make an impact when he’s been involved, sure he’s raw but he’s an attacker with plenty of promise. He’s scored against Cardiff in the league as well as against Reading in the EFL cup earlier this season.

Should he start he looks an attractive price at 12/5 (Betfair) to score anytime. It would be a miracle if Woking get anything out of this and the gulf in quality should show.

Given the visitors are 1/5 shots to win the goalscorer markets take priority. He’s as short as 15/8 elsewhere but 12/5 looks just the ticket with Betfair.

QPR v Leeds | Sunday 6th January 2019, 14:00 | BT Sport

Marcelo Bielsa has an injury crisis on his hands at Elland Road. Pontus Jansson, Barry Douglas, Kalvin Phillips, Liam Cooper, Gaetano Berardi, Izzy Brown and Stuart Dallas are all either injured or not fully fit.

Bielsa has said Tyler Roberts will start up front as well as Jack Harrison, Lewis Baker and Adam Forshaw in midfield. Aapo Halpe, Leif Davis and Jamie Shackleton are set to start at the back leaving their rearguard extremely inexperienced.

Leeds have lost their last 2 games as well and they’re coming up against an in form QPR side. The Hoops are 5 unbeaten and after a shaky start to the season they look like a much greater collective force, fair play to Steve McLaren who’s turned around fortunes and many fans views on him.

I’m happy to get the hosts on side here then, they’re pretty solid on their own patch and given the similar odds on offer for both sides it’s being played off a scratch 0 start on the Asian Handicap lines.

We can back QPR +0 at 19/20 with bet365. This gives us a bit of insurance should the game finish all square our stakes are returned. If it’s a home win then we get paid out.

Best Bets

Woking v Watford – Domingos Quina to score anytime (12/5 Betfair)

Leeds v QPR – QPR +0 Asian Handicap (19/20 Bet365)

About Author

I was first interested in the betting industry by doing the odd coupon at 18 - when I’d see a team at odds I didn’t expect it sparked my curiosity as to why that was. I’d go and research everything around that club: form, team news, manager quotes, and try give my own price in an aim to out-do the bookies. I personally enjoy punting on the Football League and European competitions. I like to diversify what markets I bet on so sometimes it’s outrights, goals, player cards etc. The Football League angle comes from being an avid Bradford City fan which has its ups (reaching a League Cup final and beating Chelsea in the FA Cup) and its downs (The entirety of 2018). Hobbies of mine include playing football, cross country running, travelling and playing Football Manager.
