Denmark resume their Euro 2020 campaign tomorrow as they welcome Belgium- the world's top ranked side according to FIFA – to the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen at 17:00.

These two nations' campaigns could not have gotten off to more contrasting starts. The Red Devils dismantled Cherchesov’s Russia with relative ease as Romelu Lukaku’s brace thrust him into the bookies pole position to win the Golden Boot. Inters talisman is now as short as 14/5 with some firms.

As for Denmark, their opening clash was overshadowed by the incident in the first half, however, once news that Christian Erikson’s was in a stable condition broke attentions were then turned as to why Kasper Hjulmand’s side were made to play so soon after the event occurred.

It remains to be seen how the squad is coping with the anguish of that day, unsurprisingly they were in no fit state to finish the game vs Finland but it could rally the Danes for this clash.

That being said, in terms of price, the Red Devils are favourites here. Most bookmakers have them posted at around even money, however, they have won 92% of their fixtures when priced accordingly. It is also worth noting that there was a huge drift in their price for their opening game as they went from 58/100 out to 11/10.

There has been a lot of speculation over the cause of this with talk of big money coming for Russia from an asian syndicate, some reckon it was to do with the absence of Eden Hazard and Kevin De Bruyne whilst some think it was linked to the Russians home advantage.

Nevertheless, Hazard and De Bruyne are both expected to feature here and playing outside of Belgium did little to faze Roberto Martínez’s side in their first game. Therefore, at 11/10 I am happy to have Belgium to win in Copenhagen.

My first bet, like most, was on the Grand National. However, I really got into betting when my dad used to go and get me and my brother the slips before home games on a Saturday. At the beginning we’d all pick one away team in a £3 three-fold but soon my brother and I were gathering all our shrapnel and creating the most ambitious accas you could imagine. Unbelievable, I won a 30/1 BTTS acca once. I remember when Birmingham pulled one back to win me the bet in the last seconds of the game, I must of been hooked from then on...
