ANOTHER marvellous winner for Gavin Horsfall (@GHorsfall) and his trusty Anytime Notebook at the weekend. He’s hunting more success this midweek.

Wigan v Burton | Tuesday 19.45

Wigan’s season has a bit of lopsided look with eight of their nine wins coming against teams in the bottom half. They’re in good form though, and are playing Burton at a good time with the visitors failing to find the net in five of their last with three defeats in four on the road.

That lack of goal threat looks a big player here and should afford Wigan plenty of opportunities to take the game to The Brewers. Gary Caldwell’s 3-5-2 sees plenty of expectation on wing-backs Reece James (12/1 Stan James) and Tim Chow to contribute further up the pitch and it’s the former who gets the nod here.

Left-back James regularly finds himself in the right place when attacks form; a bit more composure and we have a definite runner.

Fleetwood v Millwall | Tuesday 19.45

A good game in prospect at Fleetwood where the hosts, fresh off scoring five at home to Swindon on Saturday, host improving Millwall. The Lions look full of goals themselves but value looks scarce on the away roster.

Instead, it’s worth taking a chance with Reading loanee Tarique Fosu (11/2 Bet365) who was pretty advanced on the left-hand side of Fleetwood’s 4-3-3 on Saturday, getting off the mark pretty fortuitously with a goal on his second appearance for Steven Pressley’s side.

Plenty of improvement to come from the 20-year-old but the price looks big enough here.

Luton v Carlisle | Tuesday 19.45

Luton are another team in good form – shots-on-target data will point to a much better November following some poor results in October.

Olly Lee (8/1 Paddy Power) looks a bet at the prices when Carlisle visit Kenilworth Road on Tuesday.

The usually defensively-minded midfielder got much further forward against Stevenage at the weekend.

Best Bets

Wigan v Burton – Reece James to score at anytime (12/1 Stan James)

Fleetwood v Millwall – Tarique Fosu to score at anytime (11/2 Bet365)

Luton v Carlisle – Olly Lee to score at anytime (8/1 Paddy Power)
