Scottish Football Tips | Willie Duncan’s NAP | 2nd April 2016

SCOTTISH football bible Willie Duncan (@Willie_Duncan) returns from his week off to attack the weekend coupon, focussing on League One.

Forfar v Peterhead | Saturday 15.00

Cowdenbeath were the big winners at the bottom of Scottish League One last week.

The Blue Brazil produced a stunning 1-0 win against Peterhead at Balmoor to move from the foot of the table and leap ahead of both Brechin City and Forfar Athletic.

The Fifers will be hoping, though, that Peterhead get back to winning ways this weekend, for Jim McInally’s men travel to Station Park to face Forfar.

Last weekend’s defeat for Peterhead came out of nowhere – they hadn’t been beaten in League One since October – and I cannot see them failing again when they line up against a Forfar side struggling to cling onto their League One status.

Forfar have won just one of their last six games, while Peterhead have lost just three of their 15 league fixtures away from home this season – and McInally’s men have won as many on the road as Forfar have in 31 league games this season.

Only Dunfermline Athletic have scored more League One goals than Peterhead so far this season and the 29 point gap between the teams tells you everything that you need to know about the gulf in class that will be seen at Station Park on Saturday.

So, what price for an away win? 21/20 (BetVictor) is the best around and it is a price well worth snapping up ahead of the weekend’s action.
