You want entertainment? Then Monday night football is the thing for you.

In the Monday night games so far this 15 goals have been scored across the four games, and I can see plenty of goals at Molineux on Monday evening.

For a Rafa Benitez side Everton have been quite entertaining scoring plenty and conceding plenty. Admittedly, five of those conceded came in a mad performance last time out against Watford. However, that openness in defence, will be exploited by Wolves, who in their opening games of the season had an expected XG of 2.01 despite not scoring once!

Nevertheless, the recruitment of Hwang-Hee Chan has played a huge part in them converting their expected XG to actual goals. Hwang is leading the way for Wolves with four league goals this season in six starts so far. The South Korean is 13/2 to open the scoring on Monday night which is certainly appealing, and I'm happy to back that especially with Raul Jimenez still finding his feet after his head injury.

Everton sorely miss Calvert-Lewin as their target man. Salomon Rondon was a good focal point in attack, in his day. However 2021 is not his day. It will be interesting to see if Benitez persists with Rondon, or Richarlison is used as the centre forward and Everton look to counter attack with the pace of Richarlison, Demarai Gray and Andros Townsend.
That pace on the break could cause Wolves defensive problems, and Roman Saiss who leads the way for headed clearances and interceptions for Wolves, can be found out with that lack of pace at the back.  A direct running Gray or Townsend could lead to Saiss diving in.
Saiss already has 3 booking this season, and is 7/2 to be shown a card.
Another defender who is picking up plenty of bookings this season is Lucas Digne of Everton.  He doesn't seem that kind of player does he?  Well Digne has 3 cards this season, and it may be the case of Demarai Gray not offering him much protection. Digne is on 23 tackles this season, only 2nd behind Allan on the most for Everton.
Wolves with their various wide men, and that wild card of Traore turning up on either flank during the game, you can see Digne who is not scared to make a tackle, could be caught out again.  The Frenchman is 7/2 as well to be shown a card.
Last time out I had success in a booking double.  Let's continue that trend!

Best Bets

Wolves vs Everton – Hwang Hee Chan to score first (13/2 Bet365)

I had a strange introduction to the world of gambling. My early summer holidays I was packed off to my grandad's for a few weeks - little did I know that those weeks were spent inside the local Ladbrokes listening to the afternoon racing, so you could say the world of betting has been ingrained from an early age. For my sins, I'm a Tottenham supporter. I've supported them through thick and thin....mainly thin.
