THE 2016 Premier League year kicks off at Upton Park as West Ham host Liverpool. Chris Graham (@chrisgraham79) takes a look at the match for us.

West Ham v Liverpool | Saturday 12:45 | BT Sport 1

Upton Park gets us underway in 2016, a stadium that will be plunged into the past later in the year and the home side arrive into this game in good heart after their first win in over two months on Monday against  Southampton.

There's also the not-so-small matter of their 2015 talisman Dimitri Payet returning to the squad after two months out injured. Yes, there are a lot of positive signs for West Ham.

However I can't help feeling this might be Liverpool's day. True, there's not much juice in their place at 11/10 but this looks a match built for them.

It's away from home, they're on a two match winning run and I'm still not fully convinced West Ham have turned the corner from a winning point of view. Southampton have hardly been pulling up trees.

But if it's a case of backing Liverpool at 11/10 or Both Teams To Score at 10/11 I have to be on the latter. While The Hammers have been roundly criticised for their form they've only lost one of their last eight games.

Slaven Bilic's side have also found the net in 12 of their 13 competitive matches at home this season. A very strong stat when considering this bet and the influence of Payet can only help that further.

Liverpool have been frugal in their last two matches but they've still conceded in seven of their last 11 matches and the stats say West Ham can penetrate them here.

I have a sneaking suspicion Jurgen Klopp's side win but I'm much more happy playing it safe and backing Both Teams To Score at 10/11 with William Hill.
