I've always thought of Vicarage Road as a tough place to go and am therefore surprised to see how poor Watford have been at home this term. The Hornets have lost 10 of their 13 league matches on home soil and that form will need to improve if they are to have any chance of staying up.
Their opponents Arsenal started the season poorly – losing their first three matches – but have since gained 45 points from 21 games.
I do think Arsenal are a much better side than they were at the start of the season and do think they will edge this one.
I had a look at winning margin because of Arsenal's ability to win tight matches but the fact Watford have conceded 31 goals at home this season suggests that it could be more comfortable for Arsenal than first thought.
After much review, therefore, my first angle is an Arsenal win and both teams to score. Watford have scored in four of their last seven losses at home, including against Manchester City and Chelsea.
It isn't a strong play as we are yet to see exactly what type of side Watford are under Roy Hodgson, but I think the 14/5 with William Hill on Arsenal to win and both teams to score is fair enough value.
