Watford v Manchester City | Saturday 17:30 | Sky Sports 1

I put my faith in Manchester City on Tuesday night and they let me down. I suppose a draw at Leicester isn't a poor result in the context of this season but to fail to score yet again is a disgrace.

Despite their endless pit of talent and money this side have scored just one away goal in their last five matches. Indeed, just one since late-September. Pathetic.

If they win the league this season it will be a travesty for English football and make a mockery of the league. Are the other teams that poor that this side can win the title without barely lifting a leg?

Bookmakers are clearly unwilling to give an inch when it comes to Man City as they've been chalked up here at 3/4 to win at Vicarage Road. There is no justification for that on their form over the last three months.

The fear when taking this side on though is that they could click and mash other sides up to a pulp when they want to. They went to Sevilla and won 3-1 in the Champions League of course.

But let's cut to the facts, it's no away league win in six for Man City and while they might cruise this by two or three goals you're hardly getting a value bet backing them at odds on. So I won't.

Watford have been superb this season and deserve huge plaudits for kicking off the year in ninth place. Quique Sanchez Flores' side were unlucky to go down late against Spurs on Monday and appear to be a match for all sides in the league.

All six of their league defeats this season have come against top half sides and while that doesn't bode well for this match they have beaten Liverpool, Stoke and West Ham.

Goals have proved difficult though with only 10 scored in Hertfordshire. A figure that only three sides in the league can be more embarrassed about.

So when you marry Watford's shy goal form at home with Man City's appalling away scoring record it's somewhat of a surprise to see Under 2.5 Goals as big as 6/5 with 888 Sport.

This bet paid out back in September when City were in rampant form as the game ended 2-0 to the then title favourites. I'm banking on it paying out again.
