Team Goals Tips | 25th-26th October 2014

FRESH from a 4/1 winner last week, Jim Knight (@JimKnight88) returns with two more Team Goals tips.

Liverpool v Hull | Saturday 15:00

This is familiar territory eh? After they did me a 4/1 favour last week, I can't desert Hull this weekend. Liverpool's problems are well documented after their 3-0 spanking by Real Madrid was preceded by an awful performance against QPR on Sunday. I'm still trying to fathom how they took three points from that match, one things for sure though, their defence is awful. Did you see Bobby Zamora running rings round them? That says it all.

I've been through Hull on a number of occasions this season so I won't bang on about them again. Just worth noting that they're a far more offensive unit this year with the new signings they brought in over the summer. They seem to be approaching games with no fear and that is commendable. Hull have covered the Team Over 1.5 Goals line in the last six games so this is no flash in the pan. They're 15/4 with Sportingbet to score two or more here and I think that's definitely achievable against this poor Liverpool defence. There's no other side I'd rather back against at the moment than Liverpool!

Man Utd v Chelsea | Sunday 16:00

I couldn't put anyone off backing Chelsea at 6/4 on Sunday in this fixture. The fact Jose Mourinho kept his best players on the park against Maribor on Tuesday night indicates to me that he reckons beating Louis Van Gaal's side won't be enormously hard.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Man Utd scoring on Sunday, so therefore Chelsea will need to score two or more to take the three points. That's why I'm backing them in the Team Over 1.5 Goals market then. It looks like Diego Costa won't be fit but I'm very content with Loic Remy or Didier Drogba leading the line when Cesc Fabregas is supplying them. I'm not a fan of this Man Utd defence at all, Rojo and Shaw don't seem to have settled in well and there are doubts over Di Maria and Herrera for this game. Chelsea will have too much for this side and I'm confident they'll score two or more goals.

Best Bets

Liverpool v Hull – Hull to score 2 or more goals (15/4 Sportingbet)

Man Utd v Chelsea – Chelsea to score 2 or more goals (13/10 Coral)
