Serie A – Five Sunday punting opportunities from the peninsula

OUR man in Italy, Marco Di Cosmo (@scioltz) looks to continue his hot streak in Serie A with five fancies on Sunday.

Benevento v Lazio | Sunday 29th October 2017, 11:30 | BT Sport

It’ll be a no contest contest between Lazio and Benevento. The visitors are now a solid contender for a top place in Serie A and I think Benevento’s horrific season will continue after this fixture.

Benevento showed some fighting spirit last time against Cagliari and they were beaten in the last second having equalised themselves with a penalty in the 93rd minute. To be fair, the home side wasted some good chances prior to that, also failing to score a penalty.

Lazio are simply too good and there should be no doubt for their victory. Also add some goals since the Biancocelesti have showed a remarkable easiness to find the net so far.

Lazio to win and Over 2.5 Goals appeals at 8/11 (Ladbrokes).

Sampdoria v Chievo | Sunday 29th October 2017, 14:00

Sampdoria are a very tough animal at home and I am backing them to win this match. Chievo are a very solid team but Sampdoria have showed better form and their superior quality should prevail in a very open match.

The hosts love to play a high-pressing offensive game and it should be no different here. At home, they have recorded an average of 3.00 goals per-game and this is what I am considering in my advice.

I am simply asking them to score more than once against Chievo at attractive 5/6 (Coral) odds.

SPAL v Genoa | Sunday 29th October 2017, 14:00

SPAL have shown some very promising performances so far. Moreover, they have been capable of scoring against Napoli and Juventus, despite coming home with zero points.

I am asking them to do the same against Genoa, who surely have more defensive issues than the team they have faced so far.

On the other hand, also Genoa’s had a similar trends against these two teams and I am considering both teams to find the net for this reason. So it’s BTTS (19/20 10BET), for me.

Udinese v Atalanta | Sunday 29th October 2017, 14:00

I do adore Atalanta but I reckon their price is too short in recent times. They are performing great again this season but traveling to Udine shouldn’t be as easy as expressed by such odds so I’m going to oppose them.

I am aware that the Friulani are far from being a solid side, as showed in their six goal loss v Juventus but they are well capable of collecting a positive result on home soil.

The Udinese double chance is 41/50 (Marathon).

Torino v Cagliari | Sunday 29th October 2017, 19:45 | BT Sport

Torino have failed to score in their last two games but I do not believe they will fail to do it again.

A particular reason to believe that is the probable return of Andrea Belotti, personally the best Italian striker in contemporary days.

At home, Torino have a remarkable record of goals scored and I think they will keep up with that also against Cagliari, who are far from being a solid team.

Therefore, Over 2.5 Goals is the play at 8/13 (Betfair).

Best Bets

Benevento v Lazio – Lazio to win and Over 2.5 Goals (8/11 Ladbrokes)

Sampdoria v Chievo – Sampdoria to score Over 1.5 Goals (5/6 Coral)

SPAL v Genoa – Both Teams To Score (19/20 10Bet)

Udinese v Atalanta – Udinese double chance (41/50 Marathon)

Torino v Cagliari – Over 2.5 Goals (8/13 Betfair)
