Italian football expert, Marco Di Cosmo (@scioltz) marks our card for his pick of the weekend's fixtures in Serie A.

Bologna v AC Milan | Saturday 23rd October 19.45 | BT Sport 2

Milan have always delivered in Serie A action, despite struggling a lot in Uefa Champions League this season.
They have recently lost to Porto with a very damaged squad, which will be presented again at Bologna on Saturday evening.
Despite not being anyhow dangerous against the Portuguese side I am confident that the likes of Rafael Leao, Olivier Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic might be enough for a Bologna defence that is one of the weakest in the whole Serie A.

AC Milan to score over 1.5 goals

Fiorentina v Cagliari | Sunday 24th October 14.00 | BT Sport Extra 2

I like Fiorentina this season and I do see them finishing clearly in the first half of the table.
They should win against a very confused Cagliari side, especially if you consider that the Sardinians have conceded 17 goals in just 8 games. Particularly for this reason, I will consider backing Fiorentina goals rather than a simple home win.
Fiorentina to score over 1.5 goals

Verona v Lazio | Sunday 24th October 14.00 | BT Sport 3

Ups and downs for Lazio this season, with goals being a constant trend for the team.
All but one match has finished with more than 2 goals so far, and their defensive issues seem far from being solved yet, and if you consider also fatigue due to Europe League action I am confident they will concede at least once to Verona.
Their attacking quality is still great though, so I believe goals will be on the cards.
Over 2.5 Goals

Roma v Napoli | Sunday 24th October 17.00 | BT Sport 2

Not very similar notes when Roma host Napoli at the Olimpico. The Giallorossi have just been trashed away by Bodo-Glimt (?!) and this should reflect in the team's mindset for such a big match.
Their approach will be way more cautious, and I just do not see them playing with a spotless mind.
The visitors have proved to be a reliable side with great defending, just think about the defensive skills of their midfield, centre-backs and goalkeepers.
I am backing a narrow match with low goals on the agenda.
Under 2.5 Goals
