OUR man in Italy, Marco Di Cosmo (@scioltz) returns to look at Saturday's action from Serie A.
Benevento vs Atalanta | Saturday 9th January 2021, 14:00 | Premier Sports
No Alejandro Gomez, no problem for Atalanta. Even after losing their most representative player, the Neroazzurri are flying with three wins in their last win, and 10 goals scored.
It seems La Dea have found their usual form back, and despite Benevento being a very interesting side, you cannot do much against Gian Piero Gasperini’s side when they're red-hot.
Back the visitors to win in style again, as they do not make any difference with home or away ground, and especially in COVID-19 times.
Atalanta to win and Over 2.5 Goals (10/11 Betfred).
Genoa vs Bologna | Saturday 9th January 2021, 17:00 | Premier Sports
Bologna are one of our favourites list when goals need to be involved. Compared to the odds, they have a very advantageous price compared to other big teams. No wonder, they are among the worst league defences with 29 goals conceded in just 16 games, but have found the net in 75% of their total games.
Genoa have found a decent form, especially with the new manager in charge. Despite losing the last match, they have taken two important draws against Lazio and Milan.
Both Teams To Score (8/11 SBK).
Milan vs Torino | Saturday 9th January 2021, 19:45 | LiveScore
Lastly, I am backing Milan’s resurrection after their defeat against Juventus.
Given the latest team news on Wednesday, a loss was very likely for the Rossoneri and the odds-against for Juventus was a real gift. Nevertheless, Milan played a consistent game, but with five (at least) starters out for various reasons Juventus’s depth was simply too much.
Torino started the season so badly, but their recent form is improving a lot. Their quality is still lacking though, and I want to trust Milan’s reaction to what I have seen a couple of days ago.
Milan to win and Over 1.5 Goals (10/11 Betway).
