Serie A Betting Preview & Tips: Goals on the agenda

OUR man in Italy, Marco Di Cosmo (@scioltz) returns to look at Saturday's action from the peninsula.

Lazio vs Inter Milan | Saturday 16th October 2021, 17:00 | BT Sport

I find many reasons to justify goals in Saturday’s big match. Inter's game are ways more offensive than last season – all their seven Serie A matches finished with more than two goals so far, with an average of 4.20 per-game.

Lazio are showing some defensive inconsistency, and they will be missing key defender Francesco Acerbi here, which should encourage the visitors even more. The hosts are still good enough to make a game of things though and goals galore is on the agenda in Rome.

Over 2.5 Goals (7/10 VBet).

Milan vs Verona | Saturday 16th October 2021, 19:45 | BT Sport

There are also a few absentees in Milan’s squad with their goalkeeper ruled out and key full-back Theo Hernandez also missing. Still, the Rossoneri are a perfect machine this season. They have won six matches, and their only draw came at Juventus, where they deserved more from the match.

Verona are not near to last year's levels, especially away. They have sold some of their best players (Federico Di Marco and Mattia Zaccagni) unavailable and I cannot see them able to stop Milan here. Still, they might be able to score a goal, that is why I like to enhance my odds by backing more than one goal.

Milan to win and Over 1.5 Goals (5/6 Bet365).
