Serie A: A plethora of bets on Italy’s busiest Saturday

0

OUR man in Italy, Marco Di Cosmo (@scioltz) looks to continue his hot streak in Serie A with his best Easter Saturday selections.

Inter Milan v AC Milan | Saturday 11:30 | BT Sport 1

This match will be surely remembered as one of the most historical derbys in the city's history. And no, I’m not talking about the two teams’ performances on the field, they are sincerely poor, but I’m focused on the recent deal that granted a new Chinese property for Milan, after the extremely successful era of Silvio Berlusconi.

It’s something really interesting that the first match of this new era will be played against the city rival, who are also owned by the other Chinese group: Suning. This is something historical for Italian football, and probably it will have some impact on the match itself.

If AC Milan are performing far better in recent times, I still do not trust them enough to side with the outsiders, as I have often done in the derbies.

For this reason I will back Inter to score Over 1.5 goals in a match that should produce entertainment without a predictable winner.

Roma v Atalanta | Saturday 14:00

Roma are in last chance territory for the Scudetto. Atalanta are a credible candidate for a Top 5 finish, but I think they will be affected by the absence of Papu Gomez.

The Argentine has often been a menace for Rome, who will be very relieved and their chance to win should grow therefore.

Back the giallorossi to win, as happened in all but one of their matches at the Olimpico plus Over 1.5 goals in this Saturday match.

Torino v Crotone | Saturday 14:00

Despite Crotone producing above par performances to avoid relegation, I see the difference between these two teams too wide, and I am confident Sinisa Mijalovic boys will be merciless on Saturday.

We often backed goals for Torino and I’m not afraid also to back goals here. I will add a home win as their capacity to score should not have many difficulties against Crotone.

Genoa v Lazio | Saturday 14:00

Lazio were absolutely dominated by Napoli last week, and the biancocelesti were only able to be dangerous in the second half when they were already trailing 2-0.

This has been much due to the conservative approach of their coach who left on the bench the quality of Keita Balde, among all.

I am confident he won’t repeat the same error here, so Lazio should go full guns against a team who have suffered plenty of goals from anyone in recent time.

Easter Saturday Treble

I will back this interesting treble to conclude the Serie A day. Napoli should get the three points without particular worries against a Udinese side who have nothing to play for, and that are not getting many fortunes in away matches. I will add goals as usual on Napol’s agenda.

Juventus should make meat of Pescara, but maybe they will be distracted by UCL action and they might concede a goal to their opponents.

Lastly, Sampdoria and Sassuolo should be able to exploit reciprocal deficiencies in an open battle.
