Scottish Football Tips | Mr Fixit’s Treble | 22nd-23rd October 2016

THE Daily Record's Mr Fixit (@mrfixitstips) takes to the stage to pinpoint his three best bets in Scotland this weekend.

Inverness v Kilmarnock | Saturday 15:00

In the Premiership Killie travel to the north on a high after stunning St Johnstone last weekend.

Inverness Caley have seen plenty of goals under new boss Richie Foran with seven of their last eight matches having both teams scoring.

The head-to-head also favours goals, with both teams finding the net in nine of the last 10 meetings in the Highlands, so Both Teams To Score is the call here at 11/10 with William Hill.

Stenhousemuir v Brechin | Saturday 15:00

Best bet in League One is Brechin at a Stenny side who lost 5-0 at home to Stranraer last week.

Brechin have won three of their last four away games and were only knocked off top spot by last week's defeat at Alloa.

Stenny prop up the table after just one win in eight and Brechin can take the points at 10/11 with Marathon.

Rangers v Celtic | Sunday 14:15 | Sky Sports 1

I tipped a convincing Celtic win in the first Old Firm meeting – and nothing's changed to stop me backing a repeat this weekend in the Betfred Cup semi-final showdown.

OK, one or two things are different. 1. Joey Barton's been absent for Rangers, 2. Celtic's Champions League hopes are up in smoke, 3. This a cup semi-final.

The fact Celtic were well beaten by Borussia Monchengladbach on Wednesday while their rivals have had their feet up for nine days since beating Inverness has to be taken into account.

But there was no travelling involved and I'm sure Brendan Rodgers will have his men re-energised for the Betfred Cup clash as he eyes his first final in Glasgow.

Mark Warburton's men haven't lost since their 5-1 thumping at Parkhead but haven't improved enough to worry their neighbours. They will though point to last season's win on penalties in the Scottish Cup semis but that was when Ronny Deila was in charge.

I don't see another 5-1 but something like 3-1 or 3-2 – if Kolo Toure has another mare – is on the cards so go for Celtic to win and Both Teams To Score e at 23/10 with Paddy Power.

Best Bets

Inverness v Kilmarnock – Both Teams To Score (10/11 William Hill)

Stenhousemuir v Brechin – Brechin to win (10/11 Marathon)

Rangers v Celtic – Celtic to win and both teams to score (23/10 Paddy Power)
