WILLIE Duncan (@Willie_Duncan) is taking on a struggling side this weekend and looking to land a 6/4 winner.

St Mirren v Kilmarnock | Saturday 15:00

Have you ever been to the Paisley Tile Centre? I have – but only once and it was entirely by accident. It was after a St Mirren v Hearts match a couple of years ago and, somehow, I managed to take a wrong turn coming out of the stadium.

It was when I reached the aforementioned “landmark” that I realised my mistake and made a frantic phone call to get directions back to where my Supporters' Club bus was parked.

To this day, I still get stick about that but I don't imagine that I'll be anywhere near Paisley (or the Tile Centre) next season. The reason for that is while Hearts will be back in the Premiership next season, sorry St Mirren are set to slide into the Championship.

In all honesty, that's no great surprise as they have been rank rotten all season and I fully expect Gary Locke's Kilmarnock to heap yet more misery on the Buddies this weekend.

Remember earlier in the season when Hearts scored 10 against Cowdenbeath at Tynecastle? Well, poor old St Mirren have only managed EIGHT goals in 17 home games in the league thus far this term.

Gary Teale's side have lost each of their last five matches to nil, and with Saints struggling with a raft of injuries, it's hard to imagine that there will be much for the beleaguered Buddies to shout about on Saturday.

Killie have lost each of their last four games but have recorded three wins over St Mirren already this season and are excellent value at 6/4 to chalk up another win when the two sides meet in Paisley this weekend.

Gary Locke's side have scored in eight of their last nine matches and finding the net against shot-shy St Mirren may be enough to ensure that they take all three points back to Ayrshire this weekend.

Kilmarnock are well worth supporting at 6/4 this weekend and I hope that their small band of travelling fans are in buoyant mood when they wander past the famous Paisley Tile Centre at 5pm on Saturday evening.
