Scottish Football: Rangers can rollover Highland rivals, says Mr Fixit

DAILY RECORD star Mr Fixit (@mrfixittps) returns with his best bets from Saturday's action in Scotland.

Motherwell v Ross County | Saturday 21st September 2019, 15:00

Motherwell are the best of the rest as they sit third behind the Old Firm and Stephen Robinson's men have surprised many this season.

I tipped them to finish top six at the start and they are now 10/1 at William Hill to win the Premiership behind Celtic and Rangers. Aberdeen remain favourites at evens with Ladbrokes.

Three wins in a row – including a victory at Hearts I predicted last week – has the Steelmen sitting pretty just two points behind Gers.

Saturday’s visitors are Ross County and Well are nicely priced at 17/20 with Marathon to beat the new boys.

County have started OK but are yet to score away from home having taken one point from two road trips. They've won two of 10 league visits to Motherwell.

Alloa v Ayr | Saturday 21st September 2019, 15:00

Ayr shocked Dundee United in the Championship last week and the sides are tied at the top on 12 points.

The Somerset Park men should be full of confidence heading to Alloa where they won twice last season.

Back them at 11/10 at SkyBet.

Elgin v Cove Rangers | Saturday 21st September 2019, 15:00

Cove continue to set a hot pace at the League Two summit with 16 points from 18.

Their five wins have all featured Over 2.5 Goals and it's a bet I like again at 5/4 with Skybet.

Elgin, sitting three points off the bottom, have gone five without victory and are the poor relation in this Highland tussle.

Best Bets

Motherwell v Ross County – Motherwell to win (17/20 Marathon)

Alloa v Ayr – Ayr to win (11/10 SkyBet)

Elgin v Cove Rangers – Cove Rangers to win and Over 2.5 Goals (5/4 SkyBet)
