Scottish Football: Rangers can roll over old play-off foes, says Mr Fixit

DAILY RECORD star Mr Fixit (@mrfixittps) returns with his best bets from Saturday's action in Scotland.

Partick v Ross County | Saturday 17th August 2019, 15:00

I like Ross County to continue their super start to the season by sealing a League Cup quarter-final spot at Partick's expense.

County took 12 points from 12 in the group stage then started the Premiership with a 3-0 home win over Hamilton before a 0-0 draw at Hearts.

The newly-promoted Staggies were the better side in that Tynecastle tussle, missing a penalty, and can sink a Jags side dogged by financial uncertainty.

Gary Caldwell's have picked up just a point from their two Championship outings and County can leave them empty handed.

Back the visitors at 7/5 with bet365.

Hibs v Morton | Saturday 17th August 2019, 15:00

Hibs were hammered 6-1 away to Rangers last Sunday and there should be goals again here.

Morton have scored 14 in their last four games and the Championship side are capable of netting at Easter Road.

Back both teams to score at 6/5 with Sportingbet.

Cove Rangers v Cowdenbeath | Saturday 17th August 2019, 15:00

Despite drawing at Albion Rovers last week, League Two newcomers Cove still managed to score four.

That's nine in two games and they should blow away old play-off foes Cowdenbeath.

Cove will be on loads of accas at 2/5 and I'm backing them to cover the -1 handicap at 6/5 with Skybet.

Best Bets

Partick v Ross County – Ross County to win (7/5 Bet365)

Hibs v Morton – Both Teams To Score (6/5 Sportingbet)

Cove Rangers v Cowdenbeath – Cove Rangers -1 handicap (6/5 SkyBet)
