Celtic v Rangers | Sunday 29th December 2019, 12:30 | Sky Sports
Celtic have beaten Rangers at Ibrox and Hampden this season and look set to complete the hat-trick on home soil.
The Hoops have a chance to move eight points clear of their rivals and that would be significant as they chase nine in a row. Neil Lennon's men are a best 23/20 with Rangers 13/5 and the draw also 13/5.
Rangers didn't turn up in the Old Firm opener when they lost 2-0 at home but did so in the Betfred Cup Final when they crashed 1-0. Steven Gerrard will wonder what his side have to do to beat the Hoops and Alfredo Morelos will be the same when it comes to scoring in the derby.
The Colombian missed many chances – including a penalty – to break his duck and that's 11 games against Celtic without a goal. Against everyone else he's been fine so he's likely to be giving it another go but I don't think he'll be taking a penalty if one is awarded. Morelos is 6/1 with bet365 to net the opener and 21/10 with Unibet to score at anytime.
Odsonne Edouard doesn't have any problem hitting the target against Rangers – and in fact seems to thrive on bigger games. He looks the best bet to break the deadlock at 19/2 with Unibet and is 13/8 with Betway to score. Whether it's the Frenchman or a team-mate getting the goals, back Celtic for victory.
Hearts v Aberdeen | Sunday 29th December 2019, 12:30 | Sky Sports
Elsewhere in the Premiership on Sunday, Hearts entertain Aberdeen having lost new boss Daniel Stendel’s first four matches.
I’d back the Dons with confidence if Sam Cosgrove wasn’t injured but they should still win at 31/20 with Ladbrokes against a rock-bottom side who can’t buy a goal.
The Jambos are in a terrible state with one point from their last eight matches and having failed to score in eight of 10.
Dumbarton v Stranraer | Saturday 28th December 2019, 15:00
In League One just a single point separates the top four and the clubs meet in two fixtures on Saturday.
Fifth-placed Dumbarton, just five points off the summit, can capitalise by beating bottom club Stranraer.
Dumbarton bust many a coupon when they won away to leaders Raith last week and look nicely priced at evens with Coral with victory and Over 1.5 Goals.
The Sons have won four of five, all featuring at least a couple of goals, while have lost four on the spin and six of seven.
