DAILY RECORD star Mr Fixit (@mrfixittps) shares his best bets from Saturday's Scottish action.

Ayr v Morton | Saturday 17th November 2018, 15:00

Ayr won't get their fill of Irn-Bru but can surge eight points clear at the top of the Championship on Saturday. Ian McCall's men should take advantage of Ross County's involvement in the “diddy cup” by beating Morton and opening up a significant lead.

Ayr dropped their first home points last week with a 1-1 draw against Queen of the South but should see off a Morton side who have had a mixed bag of results since Jonatan Johansson took over. In recent weeks they've lost 5-0 at Ross County, beaten Partick 5-1 then crashed 2-0 at home to Alloa.

The sides have met twice this season with Ayr winning 3-1 at home and 5-1 away. So I'm happy to go for Ayr and Over 1.5 Goals at 19/20 with Ladbrokes.

Brechin v Arbroath | Saturday 17th November 2018, 15:00

In League One unbeaten Arbroath have stormed into a 10-point lead at the top and there should be goals in this Angus derby.

Brechin's last five have totalled 19 with 17 in the last four meetings at Glebe Park.

It was 2-2 when they met earlier in the season so take Both Teams To Score  – which has landed in 10 of Brechin's last 11 – and Over 2.5 Goals at 11/10 with SkyBet.

Berwick v Albion | Saturday 17th November 2018, 15:00

In League Two Berwick looked to be underrated at home to Albion.

The Wee Rangers ended a run of three defeats with a superb 4-2 win at Elgin while Rovers have lost five in a row after beating Stirling for their only win.

Berwick are five points above their drop rivals and beat them 5-3 at Cliftonhill earlier in the season. Back the hosts at 6/5 with Bet365.

Best Bets

Ayr v Morton – Ayr to win and Over 1.5 Goals (19/20 Ladbrokes)

Brechin v Arbroath – Over 2.5 Goals and Both Teams To Score (11/10 SkyBet)

Berwick v Albion – Berwick to win (6/5 Bet365)
