Scottish Football: Livi to feel the force of goal-laden Hibs, says Mr Fixit

DAILY RECORD star Mr Fixit (@mrfixittps) returns with his best bets from the weekend's Scottish football card.

Hibs v Livingston | Saturday 22nd February 2020, 15:00

There are just three Scottish Premiership matches on Saturday but all could be interesting.

Sparks could fly in the Hamilton v Motherwell Lanarkshire derby, there should be goals at Hibs v Livingston and Aberdeen entertain Ross County three days after a dramatic Scottish Cup win at Kilmarnock.

Let's start at Easter Road and both teams have netted in the last seven meetings between the sides in the capital – five home wins and two draws.

I'd back that happily if it wasn't for Livi's away record. Gary Holt's men have won six in a row at home but just one out of 13 away and are on a run of four road defeats in five, failing to score in the last three.

Hibs, meanwhile, are on a decent run and going for four wins in row. At home they are giving fans value for money with some goal-laden encounters.

The Hibees have scored two or more goals in 10 of their last 11 matches at Easter Road and 5/4 at Bet365 for the hosts to again net 2+ is the call here.

Hamilton v Motherwell | Saturday 22nd February 2020, 15:00

I'm going for goals in the Lanarkshire derby with four of the last five meetings at the Fountain of Youth Stadium seeing both teams score.

Accies' last seven have brought up this market – including clashes against Celtic and Rangers – with a remarkable 29 goals being scored.

Motherwell are out of the cup after the incredible with 4-4 with St Mirren in midweek ended in shootout defeat and the Steelmen have faltered since the winter break.

They will hope to get back on track at bottom club Accies, but best bet is both to score at 19/20 with Sportingbet.

Raith v Clyde | Saturday 22nd February 2020, 15:00

In League One, leaders Raith should celebrate making a final by beating Clyde at home.

Rovers' Challenge Cup semi-final success over second-tier Partick Thistle made it three wins and a draw in their last four matches and now they can switch focus to the title race.

The Fifers are a point clear of Falkirk and can keep their noses in front with victory over an ailing Clyde side.

The Bully Wee have lost three in a row and sit dangerously close to the drop zone.

Back Raith and over 1.5 goals at evens with Ladbrokes.

Best Bets

Hibs v Livingston – Hibs to score Over 1.5 Goals (5/4 Bet365)

Hamilton v Motherwell – Both Teams To Score (19/20 Sportingbet)

Raith v Clyde – Raith to win and Over 1.5 Goals (1/1 Ladbrokes)
