DAILY RECORD star Mr Fixit (@mrfixittps) shares his best bets from Saturday's Scottish action.
St Johnstone v Motherwell | Saturday 15th December 2018, 15:00
Only six points separate the top six in the Premiership and Hearts, Kilmarnock and St Johnstone continue to surprise. Killie were jolted from top spot by Celtic last week while Hearts' progress has been hit by injuries.
So team of the moment is St Johnstone, whose remarkable run helped land Tommy Wright the November Manager of the Month award.
Saints have won six and drawn two since losing 6-0 at home to Celtic and the only goals they've conceded are to Hearts in a 2-2 draw. Their form is scintillating yet bookies such as Ladbrokes make them 23/20 and they look one of the bets of the day.
Wright's side have won at Aberdeen and Hibs during that run while Motherwell have just one in six but did hold Celtic to a 1-1 draw.
Kilmarnock v Dundee | Saturday 15th December 2018, 15:00
A couple of weeks ago Killie would have been a banker bet but Dundee have eased clear of the foot with three wins and a draw in four.
Last week's point against Rangers came with 10 men and Kenny Miller has started scoring again.
Killie will see last week's 5-1 thrashing by Celtic as a blip and while they should win there looks little value in a best price of 4/7 with Ladbrokes.
I prefer to take Both Teams To Score at 23/20 with 888 with Dundee having netted eight in four.
Ayr v Ross County | Saturday 15th December 2018, 15:00
In the Championship the top two meet at Somerset Park.
Just one point separates the sides but Ayr have a game in-hand and had the benefit of a free week after last week's clash against Inverness was postponed.
Bookies can't split the sides but Ayr, who thumped in-form title rivals 5-0 in their previous outing, look overpriced at 17/10 with Bet365.
