Scottish Football: Goals could flow at McDiarmid Park, says Mr Fixit

DAILY RECORD star Mr Fixit (@mrfixitstips) picks out his three best bets in Scotland from the weekend's action.

Motherwell v Kilmarnock | Saturday 9th September 2017, 15:00

Without spending a penny, Motherwell fared best of the Premiership clubs in the transfer window. The sale of Ben Heneghan to Sheffield United and the move of ex-player Marvin Johnson from Oxford to Middlesbrough boosted club coffers by £1million.

Even better for boss Stevie Robinson was the fact star striker Louis Moult didn't move and all's well for the visit of Kilmarnock on Saturday.

It's been a great spell off the pitch and now it's time to do the business on it.

Motherwell have won three of their last four and face a Killie side whose only point came last time round at home to Hamilton after leading 2-0.

Killie have won two of 10 visits to Fir Park and Well look worth backing at 11/10 with Bet365.

St Johnstone v Hibs | Saturday 9th September 2017, 15:00

Another interesting game is Hibees' trip to Perth. While I'm tempted by the Perth men at 9/5 with Paddy Power, goals could be the way to go.

Hibs have taken just one point from two games after a lightning start but all four of their matches on the return to the top flight have seen Both Teams To Score.

They're better going forward than in defence and we should see an open game at McDiarmid Park, with three of Saints' four games this season seeing BTTS.

Back Both Teams To Score at 10/13 with 188Bet.

St Mirren v Inverness | Saturday 9th September 2017, 15:00

After a sticky start in the St Mirren are on a roll with four wins on the spin. They are back to second favourites to win the Championship title behind Dundee United and can prove their credentials at the weekend.

Saints trounced United 3-0 last time out and should pick up the points when Inverness visit Paisley. ICT won 4-0 at Brechin but that was against the drop favourites and the Highlanders were soundly spanked 5-1 at Dunfermline on their previous road trip.

The Buddies are a best 27/20 at Coral and that's worth a risk.

Best Bets

Motherwell v Kilmarnock – Motherwell to win (11/10 Bet365)

St Johnstone v Hibs – Both Teams To Score (10/13 188BET)

St Mirren v Inverness –St Mirren to win (27/20 Coral)
