PRO PUNTER Dino Vita (@VitaDino) has nailed two of his opening three Scottish NAPs for 2019/20. His latest selection arrives from League One.

Clyde v Falkirk | Saturday 24th August 2019, 15:00

My selection this weekend comes from Scotland’s League One as title favourites Falkirk travel to face newly-promoted Clyde on Saturday.

Falkirk are carrying their jollies tag well so far by taking seven points from a possible nine with back-to-back victories over Dumbarton and Montrose.

The Bairns have by far the best squad in the division with strikers Conor Sammon and Declan McManus already both getting amongst the goals. Both players could easily play at a higher level.

Clyde, who boast ex-Scotland striker David Goodwillie in attack, have picked up just one point from a possible nine after losing consecutive games.

The Bully Wee have found life harder in League One and have shipped eight goals in their last two defeats, which will be alarming for manager Danny Lennon as they face league leaders Falkirk.

Falkirk will fancy their chances of extending their unbeaten start to the season by taking all three points against struggling Clyde and are worth backing to do so at 83/100 (Marathon).
