Scottish Football: Back County to continue title charge, says Mr Fixit

DAILY RECORD star Mr Fixit (@mrfixittps) shares his best bets from the weekend's action.

Motherwell v Hamilton | Saturday 9th March 2019, 15:00

The emergence of talented youngsters David Turnbull and Jake Hastie has helped Motherwell surge up the table with a fine run of form. Stephen Robinson's side reeled off six straight wins before a 4-1 loss at champions Celtic and creditable 0-0 draw at Kilmarnock.

Relegation fears have been banished and a top-six finish is now the aim for the Steelmen.
They're back on home soil this weekend for a Lanarkshire derby with a third-bottom Accies side who've had a decent return of seven points out of 15 since Brian Rice took charge.

Accies' last outing was a terrific 2-0 win at Aberdeen but Well won't be so accommodating.
Back at home win 3/4 with Ladbrokes.

Ross County v Morton | Saturday 9th March 2019, 15:00

Championship leaders County should take care of Morton even though they've lost twice to them at Cappielow.

County have opened up a five-point gap at the top with a game in hand and have won four on the spin, the last three all seeing Over 2.5 Goals.

At home it's five victories from six for the Highlanders while Morton have just one win in seven and have lost three successive away matches.

Take County and Over 2.5 Goals at 7/5 with Ladbrokes.

Montrose v Dumbarton | Saturday 9th March 2019, 15:00

In League One the form team are Dumbarton who are six unbeaten and last week defeated runaway leaders Arbroath 2-0.

The Sons have a slim chance of making the play-offs and can boost their chances with a win at Montrose at 8/5 with William Hill.

Best Bets

Motherwell v Hamilton – Motherwell to win (3/4 Ladbrokes)

Ross County v Morton – Ross County to win and Over 2.5 Goals (7/5 Ladbrokes)

Montrose v Dumbarton – Dumbarton to win (8/5 William Hill)
