Roma v Milan: Rossoneri to leave the Wolves’ den empty-handed

ROME resident Marco Di Cosmo (@Scioltz) runs the rule over Monday's Serie A clash between Roma and Milan.

Roma v Milan | Monday 20:00 | BT Sport

The biggest match of the week arrives on Monday night from the Stadio Olimpico as Roma meet Milan.

Roma are something like a machine on their home ground, having registered seven wins out of seven with an average of more than three goals scored per-game – Juventus are the only other Serie A side with a 100% home record.

The Giallorossi look to be Juve’s most likely title rival this season with few other sides showing the consistency to compete. However, one of the clubs is Milan, who’s chances of a top-three finish are becoming more credible by the day.

Visiting coach Vincenzo Montella have done an incredible job for a team that was fighting for mid-table positions last year, but I still see this Rossoneri team overperforming and I cannot see them finishing so high.

I see Roma’s midfield being dominant in this match, and with the return of Kevin Strootman pairing up with Radja Nainggolan ,supporting Diego Perotti and Edin Dzeko (despite the absence of Mohamed Salah) I am happy to back Roma to continue their awesome run in Rome.

Instead of backing a simple home win, I will add Over 2.5 goals, as this has been the outcome of all the seven Roma win this season. It’s 13/10 (BetStars)
