A FULL house from Mark O’Haire (@MarkOHaire) on Wednesday night’s La Liga. Can he follow it up with another winner from Spain?

Rayo Vallecano v Valencia | Thursday 19.00 | Sky Sports 5

Valencia will look to continue their push for a top-four finish in La Liga with a victory against Rayo Vallecano in the Spanish capital on Thursday night. Los Che may have only recorded one win in their past four on the road (W1-D2-L1) but Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have impressed in Barcelona and Bilbao and showed their potential to cut loose when ripping Granada apart 4-0 on Monday night.

The visitors head to Vallecas with a fully fit squad to choose from and should have enough quality in the ranks to overcome and overpower their hosts with Ladbrokes’ 17/20 on the away win well worth a nibble. Los Che have kept clean sheets in five of their last seven La Liga outings and should be presented with plenty of opportunities to net against one of Europe’s leakiest defences.

Paco Jemez’s hosts play an eye-catching, possession-style game and although they’ve bagged five wins from their last six on home soil, tend to be found out against the league’s big guns. Since Jemez took charge, 11/15 (73%) of fixtures in Vallecas against top-six teams have ended in defeat whilst only Cagliari (62) have conceded more goals than Rayo (61) across Europe’s top five tiers this season.

Valencia rarely misfire and with a Champions League qualifying place in their grasp, are unlikely to slow down in their battle to keep pace with La Liga’s leading lights. I’m happy giving Los Che the thumbs-up at 17/20 but wouldn’t be going lower than 5/6 and it’s worth noting the visitors are already seeing plenty of support.
