This is sure to be one of the most intriguing ties of the entire season between two teams that have rose to the elite levels of the continental game in the past decade or so. There’s little doubt that the money both have seen pumped into their club has aided their efforts, but one side will miss out on a much anticipated Champions League title.
PSG had arguably the hardest task of the quarter finals having come up against Bayern Munich, that was until Robert Lewandowski was ruled out, handing the French side a huge boost.
They didn’t need much possession or even shot domination to win at the Allianz and they may employ a similar approach here, asking Man City to come and break them down and try hit them on the break with the obvious pace of Neymar and Kylian M’bappe.
With the attacking talent on both sides and PSG’s pretty poor efforts at keeping clean sheets against the better sides we should see a few goals. With a fully fit squad available at Pep Guardiola’s disposal they should be able to bag, but few have the threats of PSG on the break.
Both Teams To Score has landed in 5 of the last 6 PSG games in the competition so you’d hope they’d be happy to come out and play a little bit, especially being hosts.
BTTS is a bit short to put up but one way we can boost it to more palatable 5/4 quotes is to chuck in both sides to be carded using Bet365’s Betbuilder feature.
PSG have averaged 14.7 fouls against in this tournament, only Porto and Krasnodar have averaged more. It’s little surprise with the type of players they have on the counter. They are themselves good for a card too though, 21 yellow and 2 reds in their 10 games to be precise. The referee here is Dr Felix Brych, he’s carded both sides in 12 of his last 15 games as well as all 5 of his Champions League games.
Betway have an interesting boost on either Kylian Mbappe or Neymar to score at even-money available which looks a nice price.
Mbappe is in scary form at the minute with 9 in his last 7 Ligue 1 games as well as 8 in his last 5 in this competition. He’s going to be looking at getting in behind the high City defence like he did against Bayern and punish them.
Neymar has seldom been involved this season due to injury and suspension but has notched 6 in 7 on the continental stage. Evens looks an attractive quote getting both on side.
