MONDAY night football arrives from Denver and we got Tom Selwyn (@Tom_Selwyn) deliver his best bets.

Houston Texans @ Denver Broncos | Tuesday 01:30 | Sky Sports 1

Everyone is dubbing this matchup a “revenge game” in some form or another. It all centres on Texans QB Brock Osweiler returning to the team who refused to pay him a huge sum of cash this offseason. With each game Denver’s decision looks more and more sensible as Osweiler and the Texans offense is struggling badly.

The Broncos’ offense isn’t exactly lighting the world on fire either, however, and with two of the league’s better defences in this game they could both be finding it difficult to put up points again. It's Under 41.5 points for me.

It really has been a struggle for Houston so far this season – they are sitting at 27th for yards a game (327.7) and 30th in terms of points a game (18).

If anything, these are slightly padded as every time they’ve come up against a quality defence the offense has tanked. They put up 0 points at New England and 13 points at Minnesota – this does not bode well when you’re heading into Denver who are tied for 4th in yards given up (295) and 8th in points given up (18).

Of course, even without the wrecking ball that is J.J. Watt, the Texans defence is no slouch either. They are 8th for yards a game (315.7) and 13th for points (21.2) and will be facing a Broncos offense that doesn’t exactly light up the scoreboard.

They’re 28th for yards a game (323.3) and tied for 16th for points (23.3), with a fair number of those points thanks to a defence that sets them up in great position or just plain scores with two defensive TDs so far this season. Looking at those stats, I think this MNF matchup is going to be for fans of stingy defences and unders backers!
