LOUIS Ross (@LouisRoss67) takes a look at this rare Saturday night NFL game for us.

New York Jets @ Dallas Cowboys | Sunday 01:25 | Sky Sports 1

Somehow Dallas are a still a player in the farce that is the NFL East. They are a difficult team to judge in some ways because having Matt Cassel under centre is very different to a team being led by Tony Romo.

Cassel just cannot get the ball downfield to Dez. He just does not have the arm and that really hurts Dallas restricting them to running the ball or looking for Cole Beasley and Jason Witten. Sean Lee has led a defence incredibly well and those four wins are down to him as much as anyone else.

So your spluttering offence meets the 5th best Defence in the league. Really not want you want. To really make that point, Darren Mcfadden is the best Dallas hope right now for moving the ball and scoring. New York have the number 1 Rushing Defence in the entire NFL.

Offensively, the Jets have been well served by Chris Ivory all season and despite many doubters (me included) Ryan Fitzpatrick has done more than be just a game manager. Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker have been making plays all season and they really should be better than 8-5 at this point.

You have to go with instinct and here, mine is that the Jets win this game by a country mile. Most oddsmakers have the Jets at favourite with a line around -3. I am going to stick my neck out and plump for the 11/8 offered by Skybet on New York -6 or in other words win by a touchdown.
