LOUIS ROSS (@LouisRoss67) was on the money on Thursday night and he’s highlighted two games from Sunday’s action to get involved in.

Detroit Lions @ Green Bay Packers | Sunday 18.00

Green Bay lose two games in a row for the first time in forever. That cannot continue, especially against their ‘rivals' in the NFC North.

I use the word rivals, but in truth, these Lions are a huge bust this season. The Packers have lost these last two weekends against Carolina and Denver. That’s two defeats against, until that point, unbeaten teams. Not so bad then.

Aaron Rodgers, James Jones, Eddie Lacy, Randal Cobb. The Pack has weapons all over the field. The 1-7 Lions? Not so much. Matt Stafford is that quarterback that we all overrate by about 200%. The running game is pretty much dead in the water and the defence allows 26 points-per-game.

Two bets here. The first has a 100% record in this column. Green Bay to score every quarter at 11/8 is a price I am prepared to take with Bet365.

James Starks seems to have taken Eddie Lacy's number one spot in the RB rotation. He catches an awful lot of Aaron Rodgers screen passes (500 yards from scrimmage this season) and another bet that has paid off this year is one I like very much – Total Rushing and Receiving yards, which this week is set at 82.5 for Jones. We will take that one as well at 4/5 with Bet365.

New England Patriots @ New York Giants | Sunday 21.25

The 31st ranked passing defence and a team that gave up seven touchdowns against Drew Brees just two weeks ago, goes up against… Tom Brady. Ouch.

Surely Brady has a field day here? He could have a career day judging by how badly NY defend the long ball. So, you can’t defend the pass and are up against possibly the greatest QB of all time, NE's receivers are lighting it up, LeGarret Blount is doing his job on the ground. And oh yes, you also have a problem with Tight Ends. Hello Rob Gronkowski.

I don’t think the result is in any doubt. You could go for a number of options here. Brady should easily beat his passing line of 332, Edelman has a receiving line of 80.5, Gronk 87.5. Where do you put your money?

The banker here is the Pats -7.5 at 8/11 (Titanbet) and I am going to throw in a long odds shot to hopefully top the night off. Julian Edelman is Brady's favourite target right now. NY will be so busy trying to cover Gronk that Edelman could have an amazing night. Two TDs or more at odds of 6/1 (Bet365) will do very nicely.

Best Bets

Detroit Lions @ Green Bay Packers – Green Bay Packers to score in every quarter (11/8 Bet365)

Detroit Lions @ Green Bay Packers – James Starks total yards Over 82.5 (4/5 Bet365)

New England Patriots @ New York Giants – New England Patriots -7.5 handicap (8/11 Titanbet)

New England Patriots @ New York Giants – Julian Edelman to score two or more touchdowns (6/1 Bet365)
