Baltimore Ravens @ Los Angeles Rams | Tuesday 26th November 2019, 01:15 | Sky Sports

We get the other Los Angeles team this week and if the Rams had been performing like they did for large stretches of last year en-route to a Super Bowl appearance, then we’d be talking about this match-up against the surging Baltimore Ravens as Game of the Year candidate.

Unfortunately, the Rams offense has not gotten close to last year’s iteration and so, like last week, I’ll be keeping it simple once more and backing the Ravens -3 in LA at 22/25 (Unibet).

Baltimore has put the rest of the league on notice in the past few weeks as they’ve beaten the Seahawks as well as the Patriots, hammered the Bengals and blown away the Texans.

At this point in the season everyone knows about Lamar Jackson and the offense – they’ve been putting it on teams all year and haven’t scored less than 23 points – but it’s the rise of the Ravens defence that should have their future opponents worried.

They lost Za'Darius Smith, Terrell Suggs and C.J. Mosley from their front seven during the off-season, but with the secondary finally healthy the Ravens have been able to get creative with their pass rush.

This is causing offenses more problems than it did earlier in the season and even though the Rams should have Robert Woods and Brandin Cooks back for this game (although both are not certain to play) this year’s Rams haven’t shown that they’re the team to solve them.

I’m hoping for a fun game, so it would be nice if the Rams of 2018 did indeed show up to play as I know that Jackson will do his part.
