Chicago Bears @ Los Angeles Rams | Tuesday 27th October 2020, 01:15 | Sky Sports

The Bears come into this matchup against the Rams sitting at 5 – 1 in the standings. It’s a record that no-one can quite believe as they’re 27th in points per game and have already swapped their QB.

Now, they have an excellent defence that has smothered every team they’ve faced, allowing just 19.3 points a game, but it’s an offense driven game right now and so it’s still surprising – amazing, even – that with an offense comfortably in the bottom quarter of the league they have that record.

I’m going to largely stay away from this LA team that has been very inconsistent and instead focus on the QB change in Chicago. The Bears recognised that even though they were winning, they really weren’t moving the ball with Mitchell Trubisky under centre and brough in Nick Foles to try and create a spark.

The offense has certainly changed, that’s not in doubt, but I wouldn’t say it’s much better at the moment. They’ve moved from a run heavy approach with Trubisky at QB to a much more pass focused one with Foles, but are still struggling to move the ball and put up points.

Foles has thrown the ball a massive 123 times, with 79 completions, in his 3 starts (an average of 41 times a game), but for a total of just 690 yards. So volume of throws, but not yards. I’ll take Foles to have Over 22.5 Completions here. He’s gone over both his attempts and completions in each of his starts, so either pick is viable.

Likewise I’ll be having a little on this Bears defence keeping the Rams Under 26.5 points. LA is averaging just over 25 points a game and haven’t faced a defence like Chicago yet, who only allow 19.3 a game as I mentioned earlier.

Best Bets

Chicago Bears @ Los Angeles Rams – Nick Foles Over 22.5 Completions (10/11 Bet365)

Chicago Bears @ Los Angeles Rams – Los Angeles Rams Under 26.5 Points (5/6 Bet365)
