TWO struggling sides meet in the North East on Tuesday night. How does Chris Graham (@chrisgraham79) see the match going?

Newcastle v Manchester United | Tuesday 19:45 | BT Sport 1

Reasons for not backing Manchester United at odds on? Ok, let's get stuck in. Firstly they remain under a massive cloud at the moment after a run of eight games without a win still fresh in the memory. The two wins that followed that run have failed to convince. They sneaked past Swansea 2-1 before needing a stoppage time goal against League One Sheffield United on Saturday in the FA Cup. It's woeful.

Their away form has been average at best this season and they sit in the bottom half of the Away Table after just four road wins from their 10 matches. They've won just one of their last seven away games and have lost at Swansea, Bournemouth and Stoke this season.

When you think about it, their last convincing performance this season came way back in October when they won 3-0 at Goodison they seem a million miles from that at the moment.

Goalscoring is a problem too and they've rewarded backers of Over 1.5 Manchester United goals on just four occasions in their last 17 matches. A staggering statistic.

There seems deep unrest at the club at the moment with questions surrounding the future of manager Louis Van Gaal. It doesn't look a happy place just now.

So when you factor all this in, odds of 5/6 make no appeal whatsoever. Yes, Newcastle are bad but they managed to draw at Old Trafford back in the balmy days in August.

That kind of performance from the club is indeed indicative of their season. While they've failed on numerous occasions they have tended to raise their game against the top clubs.

Liverpool were beaten by the Magpies, they inflicted the first league defeat in four months on Spurs in December, drew with Chelsea in the autumn and were unlucky to lose 1-0 to Arsenal in their last league match.

Surely Steve McClaren's players sense an opportunity here to take out another big name and the fans will remind them of that. Whether they have the ability to beat Manchester United I'm not sure but I'm happy to have a small stake on the draw at decent odds of 11/4.
