WELL respected NBA fan Alex Buffett (@alexbuffett33) makes his WLB debut here. Alex has two picks for us to stuck into.

Cleveland Cavaliers @ Detroit Pistons | Wednesday 00:35

“King” James and his red hot Cleveland Cavaliers go on the road tonight to take on the new look bad boys of Detroit at the Palace of Auburn Hills.

Cleveland has won six of its last eight matches on the road, going 5-3 against the spread which they are favourites tonight by 6.5 points.

The big question is can the Pistons defense stop the triple threat offence of Lebron, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love? The answer is simple. No they can't.

Despite the Pistons winning their last two matches, the Cavs team has far too many offensive threats for any side to handle and should win this match comfortably.

The Cavs won the latest meeting by 103-95 and I expect a similar scoreline tonight. Take the Cavs to win and cover the 6.5 spread at 20/23 with William Hill.

Toronto Raptors @ Dallas Mavericks | Wednesday 01:35 | BT Sport 1

The Toronto Raptors vs the Dallas Mavericks is a tasty match up and it's here where I find my bet of the day!

Dallas has had a fantastic season so far, and they currently hold a record of 38-20 putting them in fifth place in the mighty tough Western Conference.

They have recently signed Amar'e Stoudemire who is an excellent pickup and will help score points and get rebounds from the bench, as well as bring energy to the team with his famous posterizing dunks.

The Raptors played on the road on Monday night and lost to the Pelicans without their star player Anthony Davis. Travelling again to take on the rested and hungry Mavericks smells like trouble to me.

With just a -3.5 points spread, the Dallas Mavericks to win and cover spread is my bet of the day at 4/5 with Betway.

Best Bets

Cleveland @ Detroit – Cleveland -6.5 (20/23 William Hill)

Toronto @ Dallas – Dallas -3.5 (4/5 Betway)
