Having had a passion for football for as long as I can remember – I’m talking Shoot League Ladders here – one of my first “bets” is still my biggest win. After begging my mum to let me fill in her pools coupon so I could show off my knowledge, eight draws later and a cheque for £11,500 was soon in the post. As a Norwich fan it’s important to have a good grasp of what’s going on in the lower leagues and I also like exploring those less popular leagues to have a delve into any stats-based markets that are available. Right now, I’m particularly enjoying player bets. Outside of sport, I love eating and drinking - maybe a little too much - as well as listening to a varied spectrum of music, both from the comfort of my own home and at festivals.192 Articles

I've been betting on football since 2011, a year when I made a fair bit of money on Southampton to win each home game after a New Year's resolution to be more optimistic about my side’s chances. After 21 wins at St Mary’s out of 22, I’d built up a fair pot of money! I enjoy researching (almost!) as much as the winning, using a combination of stats, team news, context and general football knowledge to make my selections. Outside of football, you’ll find me down the pub enjoying a few pints or at a gig most likely if the girlfriend will allow it!113 Articles

I started out in the betting industry a little over six years ago, working for Easyodds where I was able to learn from the likes of Paul Jacobs and Simon Hopper. I became head football writer there before making it as editor and enjoy writing previews, finding interesting betting angles and comparing bookmaker odds to find the best bets. If you followed my work there, you will know my love of backing players to score against their former teams and backing goalkeepers that are winning against the odds to be booked in-play for time wasting. If it ain't broke, don't fix it! I have been a Bristol City fan all my life, not just since we became famous for our GIFS. My favourite leagues to watch are all four English divisons although as a Robins fan I have only seen two leagues regularly throughout my lifetime live! I hope you enjoy my content on We Love Betting, let's hope we all make plenty of profit!98 Articles

I suppose the majority of people get into betting through the odd accumulator on a Saturday, which is true, but I started to enjoy betting when more player and team statistics/data became readily available meaning you could use that to your advantage. I have knowledge of the Championship mainly due to supporting Nottingham Forest (outside the Premier League since I was born) but I punt mostly on the Premier League. I'm also into my tennis and cricket, but my main passion is in football.90 Articles
