HUGH Wilson returns to the fold this week and he's lined up a fantastically-priced bet from League One for Saturday. Tell us more, Hugh…
Leyton Orient v Rochdale | Saturday 15.00
It's been a busy week at the Matchroom Stadium. So much so that I've had to re-record this week's entry following the breaking news that Orient boss Russell Slade has handed in his resignation and now seems set to take the job at Cardiff City.
So looking ahead to Saturday, I really like the look of Keith Hill's visitors. They've been pretty impressive this season when they've been winning games – they've now won four of their last five. That run started by beating Crewe 3-0 away, then Crawley 4-0 away. Dale lost at Sheffield United before getting back on track with home victories against Walsall (4-0) and Coventry (1-0). Impressive.
This week, we're going to focus on Total Team Goals and with the hosts looking like they're going to be in all sorts of trouble following Slade's resignation we're siding with Rochdale. By the time you read or watch this, we'll no more as there's no guarantee at this stage that the Orient chairman will even accept the resignation. But Rochdale to score Over 1.5 Goals is an unbelievable price – it's a massive 12/5 with Coral!
Looking at Orient, they've failed to win a home games so far this season, losing three of their four at the Matchroom Stadium and that includes an awful 2-0 loss to 10-men Colchester in front of their own fans. And I just can't fathom how they've been chalked up at 10/11 to win this match, even before the Slade news.
If you fancy the away victory, Dale are available at 16/5 with Ladbrokes or Coral will offer you 9/1 on the away team scoring Over 2.5 Goals. They're massive quotes which I expect to contract once the weekend gets closer and the Russell Slade situation becomes clear.
