FRESH from the international break, Hugh Wilson (@Hugh_Wilson) looks at a League One fixture featuring two contrasting teams…
Yeovil v Swindon | 15.00
This is an interesting match-up. Yeovil have dropped into the bottom four of League One after a horrid run of results; losing their last three games, conceding eight goals and only managed to net one themselves. Their opponents Swindon may have lost out in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy but their league form remains very strong, winning four on the spin.
But we're going to concentrate on the goals markets with Swindon to score 2+ goals an 11/10 shot with Coral. It's a bet that would have landed in the Robins' last seven matches now as well as 11 of their 14 outings this season!
Robins manager Mark Cooper can call upon the likes of Andrew Williams and Michael Smith who've both netted five goals apiece whilst Jonathan Obika has grabbed four in four since arriving on loan from Spurs. They've looked very impressive and I fully expect them to be challenging for automatic promotion place come May.
As for Yeovil, that horrible run I mentioned included a woeful 4-1 defeat to Port Vale last weekend and every goal they leaked looked very poor from a defensive perspective. Boss Gary Johnson believes ‘radical changes must be made' but they conceded two goals in each of their previous two games too when losing and they're just looking so fragile at the back.
Best Bets
Yeovil v Swindon – Swindon to score 2 or more goals (11/10 Coral)
