With Discretion (11/10 BetVictor) is a lightly raced eight-year-old mare who is very highly spoken about by her trainer Nicky Henderson, who said he can not wait to get her out over fences this season – If one of the most experienced trainers is saying something like that about a horse then she must have something about her.

She was a two-time winner over hurdles last season, winning both by a combined 13 lengths, including a 10-length romp over the very talented Sensulano. She made all that day at Newton Abbot jumping very well from the front, then to pull away very swiftly at the final hurdle, really shows the speed and talent this horse has in her locker.

She looked like a really cracking prospect for the Henderson team that day after running away with the race. She then went to Punchestown to come up against the super-mare Benie Des Dieux in the Mares Champion Hurdle, where she was beaten convincingly, but she didn't finish last which is the main thing. Again, the fact Nicky has taken her to the Irish Champion Hurdle shows the talent he thinks she has.

From looking at the highlights of her two previous wins you can see why she is highly spoken of; she has a massive frame that is built for chasing and is getting bigger and bigger the older she gets. Her jumping is fantastic and suits going over fences – I really do think she will make all on Tuesday and jump them to the the ground.

The in-form Nico De Boinville gets the jockey booking as he looks to continue his fine run of form for the Henderson yard. This horse looks a classy prospect over fences for Henderson, and I'm confident she will get off the mark at the first time of asking here.
