Falkirk v Raith | Saturday 17:30 | BBC ALBA

The live Saturday night match on ALBA brings together two sides moving in different directions in the Championship table.

Fifth place Falkirk have now won five consecutive games in all competitions and haven't conceded a goal for over a month, while seventh place Raith have lost four straight league games and have just one league win in 11 matches.

The Bairns' brand of high-energy pressing football is reaping dividends just now and last week's 3-0 win at Dumbarton was some of the best football they've played this season. Two weeks before that they beat in-form Hibs at the Falkirk Stadium and Peter Houston's men look to be mounting a serious play-off challenge.

Falkirk have only been beating by Rangers and Hearts on home turf this season, so this looks a tall order for Rovers.

Grant Murray's side haven't won away in the league since September 20th and I just can't see that being overturned here. In recent weeks they've lost to Dumbarton and shockingly lost 5-1 to struggling Livingston. The signs aren't good. The appointment of Maurice Malpas as Director Of Footaball reeks of a club losing confidence in it's manager.

Falkirk are 7/10 to win this match, which looks a decent price, but I need to find something bigger than that. With that in mind, I'll be brave and grab the 9/5 with Paddy Power that the Bairns win by more than one goal.

They beat Dumbarton 3-0 away last week, while Raith have conceded 10 goals in their last three matches.
