Rangers and Celtic have made steady starts in the Europa League but face their toughest tests on Thursday night against top seeds.

Rangers crashed 2-1 at Young Boys and a trip to Porto is a step up and the home men will feature heavily on accas at 1/2. Two James Tavernier blunders in Bern were costly last time out and Steven Gerrard knows his side will have to be error free.

And he will take comfort from the fact Krasnodar won 3-2 in Portugal on the way to knocking them out the Champions League qualifiers. Young Boys also netted there in a 2-1 defeat and with Alfredo Morelos always a goal threat – he hit the opener in Bern – Both Teams To Score looks on at 10/11 with bet365.

Morelos is 9/1 at Unibet to break the deadlock and 3/1 with the same firm to net at anytime – and that's usually his First Scorer odds in the Premiership.

Celtic v Lazio has the potential to be a goalfest and I fancy Neil Lennon's men to pick up the points at 8/5 with Bet365. The Italians showed weaknesses in losing at Cluj while Celtic blew away the Romanians with one of their best displays of the season.

It could be the Odsonne Edouard v Ciro Immobile show and I fancy them both to score. French Under-21 goal machine Edouard is 19/10 at Betway with Immobile – with four in two games – is 19/10 with Paddy Power.

Lazio's eight Serie A games have totalled 25 goals and they've conceded six in three. Over 2.5 Goals looks a gimme at 4/5 while Celtic to win Over 2.5 Goals pays 14/5 (Coral).

Best Bets

Porto v Rangers – Both Teams To Score (10/11 Bet365)

Celtic v Lazio – Ciro Immobile to score at anytime (19/10 Paddy Power)

Celtic v Lazio – Odsonne Edouard to score at anytime (19/10 Betway)

Celtic v Lazio – Celtic to win and Over 2.5 Goals (14/5 Coral)
