A visit to Tannadice represents a tough task for Celtic and quotes of 1/5 on a victory for the nine-in-a-row champions look far too short to me.

Dundee United have started the season well on their return to the Scottish top flight, with two wins, a draw and a defeat in their opening four matches leaving them im a respectable fourth position.

Each of their matches have been closely fought, with none of the four settled by more than a goal. Indeed, my original view was to back Celtic to win by a single goal but on reflection I believe the better option is to take Celtic to win and Both Teams To Score. That is 11/5 with Betway.

Since the start of last season, Celtic have won whilst conceding in 12 of their 32 league matches. Indeed, they have conceded in both domestic matches this term, including in a 5-1 victory against a Hamilton side who will very likely be at the wrong end of the table once again.

Moreover, while Celtic disposed of Rejkavik with ease in a Champions League qualifier in midweek, the Icelandic part-timers did create the odd chance in the second half and it is clear that Celtic need reinforcements at the back.

I do expect Neil Lennon's side to win the game, with match-winners such as Odsonne Eduoard and Ryan Christie surely having too much for The Terrors. Hopefully it is an entertaining Saturday night encounter, with both sides obliging but Celtic returning to winning ways in their first league game in almost a fortnight.
